Hello,
My network adapter has been working fine for about four years, but one day, Windows internet Connections troubleshooter said: "Adapter is experiencing driver or hardware related problems." When I look at the adapter in device manager, it says: "This device cannot start code 10 {Operation Failed} The requested operation was unsuccessful. " Since that, my wifi icon disappeared, and I can't connect to my wifi, so I can't use windows update.
Solutions I have tried:
- BIOS default settings
- Driver update
- Network reset
- TCP/IP reset
- Disable/enable device
- Delete device
- Windows troubleshooter
I am in a dead-end situation because I can't update windows and, I can't roll back because the last update was too many days ago.
Thanks in advance for any help

hi
Have you tried installing the corresponding driver here?
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/omen-by-hp-880-100-desktop-pc-series/18695893/model...
What exactly happens when you try, error message, nothing?
You say you can't perform windows update
but you can not use the LAN network card?
if the wifi card is broken
you should replace it, the easiest way would be to use a usb wifi dongle
It is the easiest to install
