ENVY Phoenix Desktop - 850-065
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to add a second ethernet port to the desktop ... any recommendations, gothas, misc things to consider ... I seem to have three expansion ports on the PCI bus ... would one of these be the target (or what) ... any recommendations on ethernet brand and model to consider ...

Any wisdom on the subject will be sincerely appreciated ...

Hi,

There are many models/products of ENVY Phoenix Desktop - 850-065 series. Anyway, based on your description you can use a normal 1Gig PCIe card. There are many cards around, 1 port, 2 ports or more. Please make sure it has driver CD or at least it shows you where to get driver (from manufacturer's site).

Regards.
