HP 14” Laptop 4GBmemory 64GB eMMC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Notifications say “can’t download/disc is full”. I’m attempting to edit iTunes playlists to re download them onto my iPod. Old playlists from an old laptop were offloaded onto a WD easy store backup device which remains plugged into my new laptop. I have not removed it for fear of loosing my playlists. If I remove it or delete temp files, will I loose my playlists? I have tried to remove any photos & files that don’t pertain to iTunes & emptied the recycle bin but seem to still be out of storage space for downloading music. I have Audacity & drphone wondershare download to edit songs& to bypass finicky iTunes problems while downloading the playlists and they both work great. I basically wondering how to free up space to continue downloading songs. I’m almost finished so I don’t want to give up now. PS I’m 65 years old & I’m amazed I was able to get this far ( after many failures lol). Thank you much.

hi

HP 14” Laptop 4GBmemory 64GB eMMC

you do not indicate your model exactly, but if it is 64Gb of storage, you do not have much solution
The best would be for you to find a usb key, if you can't use your WD disk, or a second usb hdd
to download your music directly on it
Even if you manage to make a little space, on the 64gb, you will quickly come back to the same point

I give you this link, but do not do everything that is said, the goal is not that you delete everything, even windows
read carefully, and try tips like this for example

"So I simply used the Disk Cleanup  "
