I've been trying to install a Rocketek Bluetooth 4 USB adapter on my old Pavillion Desktop (model p6505f, Product # BM394AA#ABA)
The dongle uses a CSR chip and no software or drivers are provided on Rocketek's website any longer - http://rocketek.hk/products/154.html
I have tried installing the dongle into two different USB ports and the same problems occurs where the Bluetooth Peripheral Device Drivers can not be found as shown below.
How do I get these drivers installed? I am at my wits end with this and have wasted too much time trying to correct this but no luck. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you!!

Thank you for responding,
It's great to have you back 😉
I did some research on your behalf and it looks like you may want to Contact the Rocketek support team if the other USB devices are working on the HP computer and yet the Bluetooth adapter isn't working due to the unavailability of Bluetooth drivers via their support team.
The last thing I would personally suggest you try is a force install of generic Bluetooth drivers for windows 7 and here are the steps:
Go to device manager - Bluetooth - right click - update driver - choose from my hard drive - chick List the available drivers in my drive - choose Generic BT drivers.
If I have helped you resolve the issue,

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,
Riddle_Decipher is at your service.
As I Understand the USB Bluetooth dongle isn't being installed or detected,
No worries, as I'll be glad to help you, that said, I'll need a few more details to dissect your concern & provide an accurate solution:
Have you made use of the Installation Disc sent along the USB Bluetooth adapter to install the required drivers?
Did you check if this device works on an alternate computer?
If you haven't, I recommend that you check with any other laptop or desktop to identify the issue,
And if it works on another PC, I suggest you update the BIOS and the Chipset drivers using this link: Click here to find and install.
Let me know if those steps worked for you,
If they did, that's awesome!
Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,
That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
Good Luck

Riddle,
Thank you for helping..it is greatly appreciated. Rocketek does not include an installation disc with their product. They state the needed drivers can be downloaded from their website. Unfortunately Rocketek's site only offers dead or non existent links for the driver downloads.
I have plugged the adapter into my Asus Rog laptop (Win10 /64 bit) and also my Samsung laptop (Win7/64bit) and had no issues with installation. Straight forward plug and play. The adapter installed fully and worked correctly.
It is only on my HP desktop where I run into the problem mentioned. I will update the Bios and Chipset drivers as you mention and report back..
Thanks again,
B
