Hello,
I've recently came across that my wireless card is not dual band. It is a single band 2.4 GHz card. Is it possible to replace to a dual card? If so, what would be the model that I can purchace?
Thank you,
Rosa

Hi, Rosa:
In order to upgrade the internal Broadcom BCM43142 802.11 bgn wifi card to a dual band card, you must first open up the PC and let me know if there are two antenna cables going to the BCM wifi card in there now.
You can't upgrade to an internal dual band wifi card unless there are two antenna cables you can attach to it.
Here is the link to the service manual...Shut down and unplug the PC before working inside of it.
