I have realized that this new driver update might be the answer to why my WLAN keeps breaking, every time it gets updated the wireless internet ceases to function.

driver info:

I have both times used system restore to fix it, therefore this driver update is the issue, can somebody please fix this?

hi

you have no obligation to perform this update if it is problematic..
from what I deduce, it may be, done automatically, with hp support assistant?
If yes, then disable automatic updates

you go to the settings of hp support assistant
toothed wheel bottom left
you should have "Updates Settings" turned off
