Hi @Shannon101010,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

To troubleshoot your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e connection issue with Windows 11 Pro, follow these steps.

Check Connections:

  • Ensure the printer is powered on.
  • Verify the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

Run the Printer Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters.
  • Find and run the Printer troubleshooter.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Open Device Manager.
  • Expand the Printers section.
  • Right-click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e and select Update driver. Choose Search automatically for drivers.
  • If the driver is already up to date, try uninstalling the device and reinstalling it.

Install HP Smart App:

  • Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.
  • Use the app to set up and manage your printer.

Check Print Spooler Service:

  • Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  • Scroll down to Print Spooler. Ensure it is running and set to Automatic.
  • If it’s stopped, right-click and select Start.

Ensure Windows is Updated:

  • Go to Settings > Windows Update and ensure your system is fully updated.

Reset Network Settings on the Printer:

  • Go to the printer’s control panel.
  • Navigate to Network Settings and choose Restore Network Defaults.
  • Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Add Printer Manually:

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click Add a printer or scanner and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • If Windows doesn’t find your printer, select The printer that I want isn’t listed and follow the prompts to add it manually.

Firewall/Antivirus Settings:

  • Temporarily disable your firewall or antivirus software to see if they are blocking the connection.
  • If the printer connects, add an exception for the printer in your firewall or antivirus settings.

Check for Conflicting Devices:

  • Disconnect other USB devices or additional printers to see if they are causing conflicts.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
