HP 17 Laptop PC 17-c2000 (4V792AV)

HI, I recently buy a JBL wireless audio headphone, and I can't make a bluetooth connexion with my laptop. I've been advised to get an A2DP pilot, how can I get it ?

I'tried on HP support but not succeed.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards

Eric

Hi @ERIBE,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

We understand you're experiencing difficulty connecting your new JBL wireless audio headphones via Bluetooth to your HP 17 Laptop PC 17-c2000 (Product ID: 4V792AV). To enable high-quality audio streaming over Bluetooth, your system does indeed require support for the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP).

Here’s how you can resolve this issue:
1. Ensure Bluetooth and Audio Drivers Are Up to Date

The A2DP profile is typically included in the Bluetooth driver package. Please follow these steps to update your drivers:

2. Use Windows Update

In addition to HP drivers, make sure all system updates are installed:

  • Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  • Go to Windows Update and select Check for updates.
  • Install any updates available, especially optional ones related to hardware.

3. Pair Your JBL Headphones

Once your drivers are updated:

  • Turn on your JBL headphones and set them to pairing mode.
  • On your laptop, go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices.
  • Click Add Bluetooth or other device, then select Bluetooth.
  • Choose your JBL headphones from the list and complete pairing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
