Can't connect to the 5GHZ network

HP Recommended
Omen 880-182d
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently bought an Omen gaming desktop but I can't connect to the 5GHZ network even though all my other devices could...

I checked that my network card is Realtek  RTL8822BE 802.11Ac PCEe adapter, so should be able to connect to 5ghz network..

Tried everything but still couldn't connect...and it's a new desktop...

Hi

So 127.0.0.1 is usually the adapter itself, 100%

The ISP Router gateway 50%

Outside world 25%

Remove the adapter from Device Manager and re-install, and maybe it will improve.

Perhaps you are being swamped by another local stronger signal.

Flow Chart Adapters.png

Probably useless, but the piccy may give an idea as to what to try, like changing the channel.

I realise I can see some 5G networks from other people's router, but just not mine.

I really don't know why this is happening when all my other devices can connect. Is it a fault from the wifi adapter?
