I recently bought an Omen gaming desktop but I can't connect to the 5GHZ network even though all my other devices could...
I checked that my network card is Realtek RTL8822BE 802.11Ac PCEe adapter, so should be able to connect to 5ghz network..
Tried everything but still couldn't connect...and it's a new desktop...

Hi
So 127.0.0.1 is usually the adapter itself, 100%
The ISP Router gateway 50%
Outside world 25%
Remove the adapter from Device Manager and re-install, and maybe it will improve.
Perhaps you are being swamped by another local stronger signal.
Probably useless, but the piccy may give an idea as to what to try, like changing the channel.
