Hi there,

I bought this PC in 2021 (OCT) and updated my internet service to 1G. My pc is capping my speeds, and I cannot get anything above 1G.  I have tested it with other laptops and computers in the house and they all average 700-800mbps (this is connected via ethernet-mine is always connected) I've turned off network boosting, changed the speed and duplex, modified network configuration in CMD, etc... I still cannot get it above 200mbps.  I know there is something going on, but I don't know what.  I've doublechecked all hardware, software, etc...and it works perfectly with no issues.  The only thing I can think of is, potentially the motherboard. Regardless, I am going crazy! Does anyone know how to fix this issue?

@Yiskah -- borrow the Ethernet cable from one of your other computers, and use it to connect from your computer to your ISP's modem.  If that resolves your issue, then take a very-close look at the labeling on the Ethernet cable that you previously were using.  If you see "CAT 5" -- not "CAT 5e", or not "CAT 6" -- recycle that cable, because it is limited to 100 Mbps for either "send" or "receive".
