we bought an HP 400 G3 DM with i3-7100T - windows 10 pro 4GB ram, and 500GB HDD.
PC is able to go online using both wifi and ethernet cable. after a windows update, the computer now shutsdown after starting it a few minutes.
when i remove the ethernet cable, it does not shutdown, i also tried to use an ethernet to usb, soon as the usb driver is installed, the PC shuts down imediately.
using wifi to go online seems to be fine.
we restored the PC to the original OS version, we then are able to use ethernet to connect online.
we tried to upgrade the drivers before upgrading the wind10 version, but after the OS upgrade, the PC again shutsdown when using an ethernet.
now we have disabled the OS upgrade, until we can prove that the upgrade will not mess up with our HP.
what is the issue with the HP desktop with the Windows update? because right now we disabled the Windows update.
