Just purchased new computer. Seems to be running a little slow. What can o do to speed up besides buying more memory.

Welcome to HP Support Forums. A really great platform for posting all your questions and finding solutions.

I have gone through your Post and would like to help

Is it slow when doing regular task like browsing or running programs?

Since you have just setup the computer, it will be slow for the next few days due to lots of updates that will be running in the background

You do not need to upgrade the Ram or any Hardware components

I would request you to give it few days and once all the latest Windows updates have been installed, the computer should work properly

Keep me posted if you need further assistance

Thank you 😊

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Solution Accepted" on this Post and it will also help other community members with similar issue.
