no , there is no Wifi Card

But if you have a wifi key, you should connect to wifi
you must see with the dealer of this key, if does not work!
Do you have networks detected, is wifi enabled at your Fai / box ?

which driver do you use?
did the front pc have the same windows version?
what is the windows version of this pc?
Obviously from what I understood your wifi key, is not installed?

should i not be able to just join the desktop to my built in wifi of my comcast modem some how?

But if the wifi adapter does not work, on the pc cannot connect to Wifi
There are many models and at different prices
You have to make a choice, You just have to look if it is compatible with the installed system (windows 10 / or at least windows 😎
