@Bjorn8 -- if you try CTRL-C, does Microsoft Word insert a "C" into the document?
Does your keyboard have one CTRL key in the bottom left, and another CTRL key at the bottom-right? Have you tried the right-side key?
Does CTRL-A ("select all") work - to highlight all the text in the current window?
Can you connect a USB keyboard to your computer, and try the CTRL key on that keyboard?
Is it possible that your left-side CTRL key is broken -- not transmitting anything?

By your help for trouble shooting I now found out that there is bad connection in the CTRL key. It works when I press harder...
I will see in the coming days how it goes. I have warranty.
But thank you for your help and have a nice day.
