Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello! For the past few months I have been having internet issues with my gaming desktop. My computer while being used has a chance to disconnect. As in if the router would be unplugged and everything stopped working, this lasts for about 3-5 seconds then happens a few minutes later again. My computer is a fair distance from the router so I assume I need an ethernet but I'm just asking for any help. Every device in the same room as the computer still works perfectly fine.
