HP t730 Thin Client
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I need some help, I want to know does HP Thin Client T730 support M.2 Intel 9560ngw WLAN/Bluetooth module?

I'm aware that it's works with Intel 8260NGW (I've read this in the T730 Specs)

Thanks for your time!

Hi:

The Intel 9560 won't work because that is a CNVI card that only would work in an Intel platform that originally came with the card.  Needs a supported Intel processor for CNVI connectivity and chipset.

I see that a Broadcom card is offered in the model series.

Make sure that if your PC has the Broadcom Wi-Fi card, that it comes with two antenna wires like the PC's that come with the Intel 3168 AC and 8260 AC have.

My t630 has the Intel 3168 AC.

Any card you try to install not listed in the parts list would be a complete experiment on your part.

If you want to experiment with a better card, try this one:

Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 ax 2×2 + Bluetooth 5.0 MU-MIMO M.2 2230 non-vPro   HP part # / SPS #L35282-005

The reason the AX200 may work is because HP installed one of those in my HP Envy x360 which has an AMD Ryzen 5 4500U processor.

If you decide on trying to upgrade the card, let us know which one you bought and if it worked or not.
