HP Pavilion Elite e9220f Desktop PC
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

When I try to get drivers for my HP desktop, the HP Support's site sits on the "compiling drivers list" screen forever (its been 30 minutes so far), however when I go through the same process, except selecting my laptop from the drop-down menu to retrieve drivers, the list loads within 10 seconds. I'm using the same device to look for the drivers, so why won't it load the drivers for my desktop? I need to get the driver for my desktop's wireless nic since Windows isn't retrieving the driver itself.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi:

The reason the support page isn't working for your PC, is that HP has retired support for that model since it is more than 10 years old.

The good news is that this reputable 3rd party website has all of the W7 drivers you need for your PC.

The W7 64-bit Wi-Fi driver you need is at the bottom of the second page.
