Have 37 brand new desktops (EliteDesk Pro 7055 G4 DM 35W) and all are expereincing random Ethernet Port Deactivation. LAN hardware has been tested and many other LAN devices installed on network and never experience this issue. Problem is definitely limited to this model computer.
To regaing Ethernet use the best solution is for an administrator to reset the Ethernet adapter (chage adapter setting --> Disable and then enable to get OS to reconfig and activate the Ethernet port.
HELP! Users And LAN Admin are all fed up with the problem. Two cases opened with Elite Support and little solutions offered.

Hi,
I've seen similar issues on some HP consumer models, the solution was to go into the properties of the NIC in device manager, TURN OFF EEE (energy efficient ethernet) and GREEN ETHERNET and under the power management tab, UNTICK the option that allows the computer to put the NIC to sleep.
Does this make any difference?
