Hello. I recently bought an Omen Desktop 880-597nl to replace my old Pavilion 500-343nl. With the latter i had an ethernet download speed of 2.8MBps even the same day of the pc change. With the omen desktop i get a max of 1.8MBps. The new pc went right into the same place as the old one, connected with the same cable. I updated all the drivers through windows update and through HP support assistant, and tried to change some settings in my ethernet card (duplex speed and others) but to no result. Download max speed is fixed at 1.8MBps with various programs (i.e. steam downloading, ookla speed test both as an app and on web). What could it be?

@Corrado2
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Use one of the following methods to test your Internet connection speed both before and after performing the troubleshooting steps in this document to see whether your connection speed improves: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03460887
Use the Network Speed Test to measure your network response time,
- Network Speed Test
- Bing Speed Test
Note: HP does not recommend to use Third-party measuring apps as they are not tested by HP and may not be accurate.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
