Hi @Jewel0028

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I’m truly sorry you’re still facing this Wi-Fi issue even after the effort of sending your laptop in for service. I appreciate the patience and steps you’ve already taken—it shows real persistence.

Let’s focus on what you can try right now to stabilize the wireless connection on your Windows laptop.

Here are some troubleshooting steps:

Check Wireless Button or Key

  • Some HP laptops have a dedicated wireless button or function key (often F12).
  • Make sure Wi-Fi is enabled and the light indicator is on.

Run Windows Network Troubleshooter

  • Press Windows + I to open Settings.
  • Go to Network & Internet > Status.
  • Select Network troubleshooter and follow the prompts.

Update Wireless Drivers

  • Press Windows + X and choose Device Manager.
  • Expand Network adapters.
  • Right-click your wireless adapter and select Update driver > Search automatically for drivers.
  • Restart the laptop after updating.

Forget and Reconnect to Wi-Fi

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi > Manage known networks.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network and click Forget.
  • Reconnect by entering the password again.

Reset Network Settings

  • Open Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced network settings.
  • Scroll down and select Network reset.
  • This will reinstall network adapters and set everything back to default.
  • Restart the laptop after the reset.

Run HP PC Hardware Diagnostics for Windows

These steps should help determine whether the issue is software-related or hardware-related.
