Error message 'Network change detected' when following link in Microsoft Edge. Causes delay up to a minute in accessing the new screen

@rondow -- I am guessing that you are using your computer's WiFi capability, not an Ethernet cable.
When you "view available wireless networks", do you see more than one network that you usually use?
Your computer could be disconnecting from one network, maybe because that WiFi router has become inaccessible, and your computer is switching to a different network.
Try this:
- hold-down the "Windows" key (bottom-left of the keyboard)
- tap the "R" key
- release the held key
- into the small black window that appears, type CMD and press Enter
- into the larger black window that appears, type IPCONFIG /ALL and press ENTER.
- record the details about the "active" connections (ignore the non-connected connections)
- wait until you get the "network change" message
- repeat #4 and #5 and post (here) the two sets of information
