Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, all. As the title has stated Generic Bluetooth Error is causing my bluetooth to not function properly. I installed the updated drives and software from HP, restarted my laptop, gone through device manager and still nothing.

 

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Why can't Windows load the drivers required for this device? (Code 31)

Hi:

 

What model Wi-Fi adapter does your notebook come with?

 

You can find that information by going to the device manager, click to expand the Network Adapters device manager category and there you will find the name and model of the Wi-Fi adapter installed.

 

You would download and install the same model Bluetooth driver for the model Wi-Fi adapter your notebook has.

You need this W11 Bluetooth driver for the Realtek wifi card's Bluetooth adapter.

 

1.9.1038.3007

This one is newer than what is on your notebook's support page.
