A grey camera icon has suddenly appeared on my screen. Additionally, I have no WiFi access and I2C HID device is not working properly and intel WiFi 6 AX201 160mz adapter has stopped working......any solutions please?

I have the exact same issues, which started at the same time. I'm wondering whether its a windows update issue perhaps.
I've managed to resolve the wifi adapter issue, I found the driver in Device Manager and disabled / enabled it and that did the trick. The other driver you mention is also showing an error for me.
As for the camera, I don't appear to have any drivers for the camera anymore. My Hp Envy x360 is not registering there being a camera at all. The only fix I have found for the grey camera icon on-screen is to activate the privacy button on my keyboard and then close and open my laptop. It seems to remove the icon from the screen but the camera is still not functioning.
Hopefully HP can offer some support. I know there is an existing advice article on camera issues but the advice suggests turning the privacy button off and on or checking the drivers - neither of which are of any help here!

Thanks for your reply 👍 it sounds like you are having very similar issues. Fortunately mine were resolved by a very helpful technician at my local Currys ( other electrical supplier's are available 😀) He updated the drivers through device manager and then switched the camera on and off using the keyboard camera button at the top right of the keyboard.....job done!
I had tried driver updates from Intel unsuccessful but when he did as described above it is working properly again.
Should this continue then I was advised to return it to HP for repair due to complexity of touchscreen configuration.
Hope you get a resolution soon as I know how frustrating it was for me.
