I'm very new to VLAN's, and have tried to setup my system a couple times with no success. What I'm trying to do should be very simple for those of you who know how HP switches work.
Here's how my working network is setup;
I have 2 HP 2305 POE switches (SW1 and SW2)
Network 192.168.10.0/24 all on VLAN 1
Switch 1 (SW1 on 192.168.10.2
Switch 2 (SW2 on 192.168.10.3
Trunk between the two Switches works great.
DHCP/DNS server on 192.168.10.6
ISP Router(no dhcp etc.) to Port 1 of SW1.
All devices work great.
Now introduce what I want to change; I have a few cameras on the property. All but 2 of the cameras are connected directly to the NVR.
The NVR uses 10.10.0.0/16 network and is on 10.10.25.1. It also has it's WAN connection (Port 9) to the SW1 and gets address 192.168.10.9.
TWO of my cameras are on the far side of SW2, and get addresses 192.678.10.8-9.
My NVR has 8 extra camera ports open where I'd like to connect the SW2 cameras. Those ports are on the NVR 10.10.25.0/16 network.
I created a VLAN 2 on both SW's and assigned the two camera's on SW2 to VLAN 2.
On the SW1, I assigned a port to VLAN 2 and connected that to one of the open ports on the NVR.
On SW2 I used untagged VLAN 2 for the two ports for the cameras.
On SW1 I also untagged the VLAN 2 port to the NVR
How do I use tagged/untagged ports so the SW2 cameras go through the Trunk and exit the VLAN 2 port on SW1 to the NVR?

HP split into two companies back in 2014.
HP supports PC's, printers, tablets and calculators.
HP Enterprise (HPE) supports servers, switches, routers and enterprise storage devices.
You may want to post your question on the HPE community forum -- Networking section.
