I have a fairly recent HP All-In-One PC with a white wireless keyboard.

I went to sign in yesterday and it says my PIN is wrong. I haven't changed the PIN.

I suspect it is the number lock but there is no key labeled for number Lock?

Where is the Number Lock Key?

@rbnippe54, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP All in One PC with wireless keyboard!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

On many HP All-In-One PCs with white wireless keyboards, there may not be a dedicated Num Lock key, especially if the keyboard has a compact layout. Here are some ways to check and enable Num Lock:

Check the Function (Fn) Key Combination

  • Some HP wireless keyboards use Fn + another key to toggle Num Lock.
  • Try pressing Fn + Backspace, Fn + F8, or Fn + Shift to see if that activates Num Lock.

Check On-Screen Keyboard (OSK)

  • Open the On-Screen Keyboard to check Num Lock status:
    • Press Windows + R, type osk, and press Enter.
    • If Num Lock is off, you may see a gray NumLock button on the OSK. Click on it to turn it on.

Check if You Are Using the Numeric Pad as Arrows

  • If your keyboard has a number pad, try pressing "Clear" or "Shift + Clear" (on some keyboards, "Clear" acts as Num Lock).

Reset Your Keyboard Connection

  • Turn the keyboard off and on, or reconnect it to your PC if it's wireless.
  • If possible, try a different keyboard to enter your PIN.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
