@q1-_2w -- is your printer's networking (WiFi and/or Ethernet cable) working?
If so, try this:
- hold-down the Windows key (bottom-left of your keyboard)
- tap "R" key
- release the Windows key
- into the small window that opens, type CMD and press ENTER
- into the large black window, type ARP -a and press ENTER
- do you see the IP-address of the printer, and its MAC-address ?
Something like:
Interface: 192.168.0.10 --- 0xa
Internet Address Physical Address Type
192.168.0.1 00-cf-d8-f4-1d-23 dynamic
In my case, my computer's IP-address ends with ".10", and my cable-modem's IP-address ends with "0.1".
There should be another entry for your printer's network adapter.
Or, are you sure that the label on the bottom/back of the printer does NOT show the MAC-address?
I hope this helps.
