I am trying to print from my HP Envy 6200. It is fully connected to my laptop, and both printer and computer are connected to our wifi, but whenever I try to print, it simply says ‘The printer is not responding.’ Any tips?

Welcome to the HP support community.

Are you able to make a copy?

Meanwhile:-

To isolate the issue, please perform a ping test and share the results

  1. Obtain the IP address of the printer by clicking on the Wireless icon Machine generated alternative text:

 on the printer

  2. On the MAC Go to Spotlight > search for Network utility > select Ping tab > enter the IP address of the printer in the box

  3. Check the second box that says Send only > 10 pings

  4. Click on ping > Check the results at the end if any packets are lost.

  5. To stop the ping, after seeing enough results, press Ctrl + C.

Note: There should be 0% packet loss

Let me know how it goes.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.
