Thank you once again Paul!
Here is what I am going to do. Please correct anything you see that I might be doing wrong.
I have ordered the dual band wi-fi card. It will be here Sunday.
While I wait on it I will download the files I need but not install them.
Once my dual band wi-fi card gets here I will carefully remove the old card taking extra precautions with removing the two antenna wires. (Makes no since to me to put two antenna wires on a single band wi-fi card but I am fortunate they did).
I will install the two wires on the new dual card and then install it onto the motherboard.
I will then install the downloaded files.

Hi, Harry:
While I wait on it I will download the files I need but not install them. Yes, good idea.
Once my dual band wi-fi card gets here I will carefully remove the old card taking extra precautions with removing the two antenna wires. (Makes no since to me to put two antenna wires on a single band wi-fi card but I am fortunate they did).
Yes, proceed that way. The two antennas provide for much better reception even on a single band wifi card. The new single band wifi cards are designed to only work with one antenna. Some don't even have a second terminal.
I will install the two wires on the new dual card and then install it onto the motherboard. Yes, if that is easier to attach the antennas that way, do it.
I will then install the downloaded files. Yes. Also, If there is any Ralink software to uninstall in the windows control panel>programs (maybe bluetooth?), uninstall that before removing the Ralink wifi card.

Hi Paul,
Just a quick update. I have installed the dual wi-fi receiver component to my computer and it works great! With your excellent help and knowledge it was a very easy install.
Thanks again for such great help,
Harry
