I seriously wanted to build my own first PC this year as I am looking to ditch my laptop for something with dedicated graphics. However, I did not anticipate how terrible the GPU shortage would make it to try to build this year. I also noticed that almost all 3000 series prebuilt are currently sold out with no clear end of this in sight.

@Chopper90 -- can you find a local "owner/operator" computer-store that might have a high-end GPU on their shelf? Sometimes, people are so focused on buying online that they forget about those local businesses.
