Hello,

I have a number of ProDesk 400 DeskTop minis.  Unfortunatly they do not come with wireless as standard.

They have a M.2 slot or PCIe slot on the board.

I'm after the HP part number and want to know what you get in the box.

Do you get the card, screw, antenna cables, and antenna and does this come with instructions as to where to put the antenna in the PC.

If HP do this as a kit, may I have a part number please.

On the spec list under networking it shows two cards that are options.;

Cheers

Hello,

For the HP ProDesk 400 G3 Desktop Mini, there are 2 separate parts needed to install a wireless card.
I have not been able to find any part listings that does come as a full kit.
There is also an optional external antenna.

Part numbers can be found here:
http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?type=PROD&SearchText=1KJ81UA

There will be internal wiring, antenna cover, external antenna, and the module itself listed here.

I have not been able to confirm if the screws are included, or the size of screws needed.
From the picture you sent, the left connector is for WLAN, right connector is for M.2 SSD

Installation instructions can be found here: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05390710

WLAN module instructions begin on page 27, External antenna instuctions begin on page 32.
