Hi all I'm new to the forum anyways I cannot project to a second screen using Hp pavilion 590 all drivers updated using Intel assistant.
I also tried with my HP laptop to project and works no problem so this tells me then the problem lies with the desktop.
Don't Really want to reformat/recover but its starting to look very much likely which I dred.
Any help would be appreciated.

What is your Pavilion 590 ? Must be Pavilion 590 -something, for example HP Pavilion 590-p0057c as shown:

Depending the configuration of your machine, you may have to have an adapter
note:Full multi display support might require an active adapter.
and
note:Integrated video is not available if a graphics card is installed.
that means some video ports won't work.
I need to know EXACTLY the model/product of your machine before I have more say.
Regards.
