Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When I pull up my  HP , well the HP Smart takes forever to pull up. It just sits there and spins and spins. Then I will get messages and it goes off. Then after about 3 times of this it will finally pull up. It is so frustrating. Can anyone help me with this? I appreciate it so much.  Trisha68

I have the same problem suddenly. I noticed my default printer was also changed to HP Smart Device. I had to go into settings and disable "Let Windows choose my default printer" apparently based on what printer I use the most. Why on earth would anyone want that?

 

So I changed it back, but that didn't make any difference either before or after. It's just suddenly taking 20+ seconds to start. My guess is that, it has to connect with the HP servers before you can even use it. Which means that if the Internet is ever down where you are, good luck ever using your printer. Just bad ideas on top if bad ideas.
