Someone gave me their desktop computer. I did a factory reset and am trying to get online. When I clock network options it is only giving me LAN connection, forcing me to use ethernet. I am unable to do this because wireless router is in a separate room. How do I get desktop to recognize wireless network so I can get online?

Hi:
The product specs indicate that the PC did not come with built in Wi-Fi. Ethernet only.
HP Pavilion p6777c Desktop PC Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support (bingj.com)
The easiest thing to do to add Wi-Fi capability to your PC, would be to purchase a USB wifi adapter.
I recently bought this model to add to a Dell PC I have.
If you want a model that also has Bluetooth, this seems to be a popular one.
