hey, i got a HP pavilion 800 from my dad for my mac, when i try pairing them up i couldnt pair them . only the function key works the rest keys aree not working on the keyboard, i tried contacting apple customer support they said it not their fault. PLZ help me out

Are you trying to "pair" a BlueTooth keyboard that was manufactured by Apple to a computer running Microsoft Windows 10, via the BlueTooth adapter inside the PC?
