There are no bluetooth devices showing in device manager.   What should I look for?

Thank you

Hi, Frank:

Bluetooth is a function of the wireless network adapter.

What model wifi adapter does your PC come with?

If you don't know, go to the device manager, click to expand the Network adapters device manager category.

There you will see the name and model number of the wireless network adapter.

If you do not see a wireless network adapter listed there (no surprise as those are optional), then your PC does not have Bluetooth either.

Paul, Thank you for the quick reply. That was exactly what I was looking for!

You're very welcome.

If you need bluetooth, the easiest thing to do would be to purchase a USB bluetooth adapter.

I use this one for example on two of my HP business desktop PC's.
