I can't  connect my hp prodesk to the internet also i can't find the wifi icon

Most HP Prodesks don't come with built in Wi-Fi.

 

If you only see an ethernet adapter listed under the network adapters device manager category, then your PC did not come with the built in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth option.

 

The easiest thing to do to add Wi-Fi to your PC would be to purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter.

 

I use this one on my HP 800 G3 desktop PC that does not have the built in Wi-Fi option.

 

USB WiFi Bluetooth Adapter, 600Mbps Dual Band 2.4/5GHz Wireless Network Card, USB WiFi Dongle for PC...

 

Works fine and even has Bluetooth.
