Hi:

Since probably 95% of 8300 Elite desktop PC's did not come with built in Wi-Fi, that would be the reason why you can't connect to any wireless networks.

The easiest thing to do to add Wi-Fi to your PC would be to purchase a USB Wi-Fi adapter.

I have ordered Wi-Fi adapter, but still feel like something is mssing.  This pc had wi-fi prior to recovery.

Most Wi-Fi mouse devices use a separate USB plug in adapter.

Doesn't yours?

Net access by WiFI is totally different to a WiFi mouse.  Check if other devices, if you have any, find the Wifi from the same location.  Has the Wifi router been moved so the signal is not reaching your pc.  Step by step from router to device will help you find a solution, it maybe you need driver updates, check in device manager for that.  Kindly report if you have successfully regained Wifi connectivity after trying these suggestions.
