Hi, my WiFi connections keeps dropping and reconnecting every few seconds. It started after Windows 10 update.
I need to download updated driver to a SUB flash drive, then install it to this laptop. Because of the WiFi connection issue I can't download and upgrade the driver directly. I tried to download WiFi driver directly from HP website using a friend's PC. But HP didn't give me the option of down loading it to a USB.
Please help asap, as I need the WiFi connection to do business.

Hi:
According to the parts list for your notebook, it comes with a Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11bg/n 1x1 WiFi adapter.
I recommend you download and install this W10 driver for that model card since it is newer than the one on your notebook's support page.

What you have to do is to download the file to your friend's PC.
Have him copy and paste the file from his downloads folder to a USB flash drive and then you can plug in the flash drive in your notebook and run the file from the flash drive, or copy and paste the file from the flash drive to your notebook and run it from there.

NOTE TO HP SUPPORT: URGENT – Please allow downloading WiFi drivers onto USB. As is in my case, if there is no WiFi/internet connection, there’s nothing that could be downloaded to fix any issues. 🎷
Dear Paul,
Thank you very much for caring. I followed your instructions and updated the driver. Unfortunately, the issue still exists. ☹️
Before posting my request on the HP community, the MS tech tried and applied many fixes to no avail. And since there is no WiFi connection, he couldn’t try to fix the issue remotely or download the new Windows update that is available that could fix this issue. So, he suggested downloading the new driver from HP. But HP didn’t give it, or I couldn't find the option of saving the driver into a USB.
Could you or anyone find a way to download the newer HP driver relating to this W10 issue so I can copy it onto my USB? Or provide me with any suggestions.
FYI – this issue happened after the MS update. The MS tech support said the update must have corrupted the driver. Also, the issue is not with my WiFi router or the internet, as all other devices are functioning correctly. I’ve also tested the issue using the direct cable connection.
Many thanks in advance for your time and support.

P. S. My laptop is a 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

You're very welcome.
Unfortunately, I don't know what can be done when the Wi-Fi adapter disappears from the device manager.
For now, since you need the notebook urgently, I recommend that you purchase a USB wifi adapter so that you can get online.
This model seems to be very popular and even comes with Bluetooth.
