Since day one I've had issues with my HP ENVY Desktop - 795-0050 Bluetooth intermittently cutting out.  I cannot use the wireless keyboard and mouse that came with the computer as sometimes they work, and sometimes they do not respond. I also tried connecting my Beats Studio Pro headphones, and have the same issue.

The computer came with Win 10 and I hoped that when I upgraded to Win 11 it would resolve the issue, but it did not.  I connected the same keyboard and mouse to another, older desktop and they work fine.

Has anyone else had this issue, and if so - how did you fix it?

Thanks,

Johnny

Hi @JohnnyLav ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing Intermittent Bluetooth connectivity issues can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

Update Drivers: Ensure that your Bluetooth drivers are up to date. You can usually find the latest drivers on HP's support website specifically for your HP ENVY Desktop model.

Windows Update: Make sure your Windows 11 operating system is fully updated. Sometimes, Microsoft releases updates that include fixes for Bluetooth-related issues.

Check for Interference: Bluetooth signals can be affected by interference from other wireless devices or even physical obstructions. Try moving your computer and Bluetooth devices to different locations to see if the connection improves.

Reset Bluetooth Devices: Sometimes, resetting your Bluetooth devices can help resolve connectivity issues. For your wireless keyboard and mouse, there may be a reset button on the devices themselves or instructions on how to reset them in the user manual.

Remove and Re-pair Devices: Remove your Bluetooth devices from the list of paired devices on your computer and then re-pair them. This can sometimes establish a more stable connection.

Check Power Management Settings: In Device Manager, locate your Bluetooth adapter, right-click on it, and go to Properties. In the Power Management tab, uncheck the option that allows Windows to turn off the device to save power.

Run Troubleshooters: Windows has built-in troubleshooters that can help diagnose and fix common Bluetooth problems. You can access them by going to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
