As @Paul_Tikkanen wrote:The empty M.2 slot was designed to be used for the wifi card with no additional connectors needed, and the M.2 wifi slot cannot be used for anything else but a wifi card.
I do not know which M.2 cards are best. Read reviews to see what problems other users have, if any. All I can suggest is to make sure the antennas are secured with tape to where they cannot be caught in fan blades or damaged when a cover is closed. Get the latest WiFi that is supported by the country where you live. Ask HP local support what device to buy and where.

I would like to thank you both for your time and effort.
I have accepted this solution just to give an end to this topic, since it seems more of a conclusion to me.
Also, I've concluded in buying an M.2 card and use the motherboard's socket.
But I need to confess that you both gave me credible feedback and I do appreciate it.

Hi @Paul_Tikkanen,
I'm coming back for some feedback!
It has been a few weeks now that I've been using the Intel Wi-Fi6 Desktop Kit on a daily basis, and I have to say that I am very satisfied with this product.
I get an excellent Wi-Fi coverage that performs better than any other mobile device in the same room as the desktop stands.
I also never get lags or disconnects while browsing! Streaming and Bluetooth work great! No complaint.
The only negative thing I encountered was on the first day when I installed it in the motherboard.
HP or the motherboard manufacturer did not deliver a m2 screw on that Wi-Fi m2 socket by default, and the Intel Kit did not include one either.
Sadly, I had no extra screws, and I had to remove one from an old desktop pc.
Thank you for pointing out this item! It sure made a difference!
Cheers! And have a great day!
Kind Regards,
Sotiris
