I have a hp pavilion, and having internet connection issues. So basically it has full WiFi bars, and says connected, secured. But I cannot use anything that requires internet. (No online games, internet searches etc). I did a direct connection to my wife router, when it was connected I was able to play online games, but still couldn’t browse. I’ve tried things I saw online but nothing has worked. Any help is appreciated

Hi@Phil12122, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
I understand you are in need of support,
I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:
Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?
When was the last time it worked without these issues?
In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:
Check the date and time of the notebook, and change it to the right time, also check for the timezone settings.
If that doesn't fix it, then follow this link https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c04649175 and perform the steps in the given order.
Please reply with the details for further assistance.
Eager to help!
Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos, Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
