Example: Pavilion g series
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I’m having trouble connecting to the internet. Comcast installed a new modem but my network name still does not appear to connect. They suggested I get the updated HP address

What is your Pavilion G machine ? It may ONLY has wifi adapter which ONLY supports 2.4 GHz networks. Please allow your router to broadcast BOTH bands (2.4GHz nd 5.0GHz) to allow it to "see" 2.4GHz network to allow you to connect.

Regards,
