For the first few months of usage, the Omen laptop ran perfectly. The network booster was very helpful, fan control was appreciated, but then suddenly my internet speeds started tanking. My ping in games went from my typical 20ms to nearly 100ms which felt more like 300ms. After hours of troubleshooting, reinstalling drivers, doing speed tests, attempting ethernet connection, and reconfiguring my router, I found that uninstalling or disabling Omen command center shot my speeds up back to the prior 20ms. I recently reinstalled Omen command center because I missed the ability to adjust my fans and still had the same issue near half a year later. When i checked the settings for the network booster, it shows my device is only capable of between .07 mbsp to .3 mbps which is nowhere near my typical 40-50mbsp with omen command center uninstalled. When I turn on the network booster as well, Omen genuinely acts like my device can only handle that much, and seems to limit my connectivity to near 0.10mbps, destroying ping and any ability to visit webpages.
