@aditya-1319,

Welcome to our HP Community forum!

Unfortunately, the HP KM250 wireless keyboard and mouse combo (Model No: KM250, Product No: 7J4G7AA#ACJ) does not support pairing with a universal dongle or third-party receiver.

This combo uses a dedicated 2.4 GHz USB dongle that is pre-paired at the factory with the keyboard and mouse. Once that dongle is lost, you cannot re-pair the keyboard and mouse to a new or generic receiver (unlike some Logitech devices that use "Unifying Receivers").

Your options:

  1. Check thoroughly for the original dongle -it’s usually tiny and might be plugged into a USB port or stored inside the mouse battery compartment.

  2. If it’s lost, you’ll likely need to:

    • Buy the same KM250 combo again, or

    • Replace with a new combo that comes with its own pre-paired dongle.

Sadly, HP does not sell replacement dongles for the KM250 separately.

Kind Regards,
