The wireless keyboard suddenly stopped working.  It does not appear to have batteries, or I cannot find any type of compartment.  Rebooted the computer and that did nothing.  Anyone have any advice on what the issue may be?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

To help you further with this, let us know the model number name of your Computer.

Meanwhile, let's do this:

Here's the user manual for your product: Click here (if you have removed the slip from the battery and yet issue persists, follow the below steps).

· What you need to know before getting started

· Set up your wireless keyboard and mouse

· Video overview of wireless mouse and keyboard troubleshooting

· Wireless mouse or keyboard does not work

· The mouse does not track well (skips)

· Keys do not type, characters appear seconds later, wrong characters appear when typing, or numeric keypad does not work

· A key is stuck on the keyboard

· Increasing keyboard and mouse battery life

For details about each step: Click here

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
