Hi, I have a very old Compaq desktop with a broken HDD, I have replaced the HDD and reloaded win7 pro.
Everything works smoothly but the LAN has no driver.
Where can I download the driver safely?
Thanks in advance!

that part number (?) did not work in any search I tried.
Use the model number at either of the two sites below
The following two sites have software for older systems that might not be available at HP. The driverscollection site is recommended more than the .eu one. Do not download any "driver downloader" or "updater". Please examine the buttons to ensure they download the actual driver and not a driver helper.
https://us.driverscollection.com
https://drivers.eu/PC/HP

Hi BeemerBiker, sorry to have reported the serial number instead of the model number......
As you already know, on the HP site the assistance is no longer available for this model.
I have a label on the side, reporting "Compaq SG3 Series" , Serial No. [Personal Information Removed], Product No. LG051EA#ABZ, Model No. SG3-341IT, and a label on the back reporting "Hewlett.Packard [Personal Information Removed].
I used the US link, and on page 41 there is something that sounds very close, Presario SG3340IL, even if it is supposed to work with Vista while I have Win7 onboard.
I am waiting for the activation to download the driver and see if it works.
I'll keep you posted, thanks a lot for your help.
