Hi, lost USB for mouse (SM-2064) and keyboard (SK-2064). May I just buy a new USB ?
The Answer from Bahein (HP) was „ They do NOT support Link-5 technology. You have to buy a new set."
„
I would like to know now – „If I buy the same set, with the same numbers for keyboard and mouse, will the USB work for both sets?“

Welcome to the HP Community --
My opinion:
Likely NOT.
HP, unlike Logtech, does not sell USB Unifying connectors that can be programmed / reprogrammed / connected to different devices.
Unless things have changed (and, sure, it's possible), then each HP mouse / keyboard comes with a single USB dongle that works with the mouse / keyboard / set.
If true, it is unfortunate, of course.
On other other hand, Logitech mice work quite well with HP devices.
No, Logitech Unifying software and USB devices do not work with HP mice.
If you can find such in your region, they might be worth a look:
Logitech - Mice and Pointers - USA
Logitech - Unifying Software - USA
