My pc randomly drops the wifi internet connection.

I have updated the drivers, installed a USB wifi card, changed the wifi network, changed the ISP and modem and changed brouser.

When it drops connection, there is no notification,  it only stops working (wont load any new pages).

Any further suggestions?

Hi @MJA25,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

Check Wireless Signal:

  • Make sure that your wireless signal is strong and that your device is within range of the router.

Update Hardware Drivers

  • Ensure that all hardware drivers, especially for your wireless adapter, are up to date. Consider visiting the HP Support website to check for any specific driver updates. You can use Device Manager to update hardware drivers:

 Device Manager.

  • Double-click Network adapters.
  • Right-click your wireless device and select Uninstall driver.
  • There will be a POP again click on Uninstall driver. {don’t check the box}
  • Restart the UNIT.

Device Manager:

  • Go to device manager
  • Click on network adapters
  • Click on Intel WIFI
  • Click on Properties
  • 802 wireless mode and keep it in the highest {value}
  • Click ok

I hope this helps, Please revert back if the issue persists.

Take care and have an amazing day!
