Microsoft Windows 11

I have a few computers networked together through a switch and a router. The machines are all running windows 11 and are set up on the same workgroup. I recently bought an HP OmniDesk Desktop AI PC M03-0054. I have changed the network settings on the new machine (#1) to the correct workgroup. The new machine is now connected to the internet and the workgroup. I am having a problem creating a mapped drive to another machine (#2) on the network. The computer i am trying to map the drive to has several other machines connecting and working fine.

- I have made sure that the share on the #2 is set to read/write for everyone

- network sharing on all machines is set to "Private networks" network discovery is on and file and printer sharing is on

- all machines are on the same workgroup

- The following services are running

  • Function Discovery Provider Host

  • Function Discovery Resource Publication

  • SSDP Discovery

  • UPnP Device Host

I am appreciative to anyone that has some suggestions to try. Thank you.
