Microsoft Windows 11

Microsoft 1780 Keyboard connects to Bluetooth by connecting first with the USB cable that came with the keyboard. Attach keyboard. Turn on keyboard. Pop-up opens. It says click on the pop-up to install driver. Click on pop-up. Nothing happens. Go to Settings, Devices, and keyboard is listed (Microsoft BTLE Keyboard), but not connected. (It is connected, but by the USB cable). It also shows in device list as just USB Connected Keyboard. Fingerprint works with Windows Hello (because I installed that driver separately after downloading from Microsoft site. However, I think that Microsoft is replacing the Realtek Bluetooth drivers with its own generic Bluetooth drivers. Realtek drivers updated during post install running of Windows Update to update the OS and other files. Microsoft Precision Mouse (Model 1818) also struggles to stay connected to Bluetooth. It connects, but then disconnects, connects (lather, rinse, repeat).
